Back to school

WITH the floodwaters now receding, Glenora District School and Westerway Primary School will re-open tomorrow (Thursday). Buses to Westerway will be operating as usual.

Due to the flood damage to the Styx River bridge, the Hamilton and Bloomfield buses will not be running to Glenora. Parents of students who catch those buses are encouraged to make alternative arrangements for their children to get to school if possible.

The Glenora school advises that parents who normally use the Lyell Hwy and the Styx River bridge will need to use an alternative route. The school understands that students may be late getting to school and asks that they sign in at the office on arrival.

Both schools have expressed their appreciation for the support and understanding received during this week's floods.
