Tuesday school closures

Glenora District School will be closed on Tuesday due to the major flood warnings for the Ouse and Derwent rivers and the Bureau of Meteorology forecast for heavy rain in the Derwent Valley.

New Norfolk High School will remain open. Parents should use their own judgement regarding sending their children to school who live in outlying areas or who are affected by flooding.

Westerway Primary School will be closed given the forecast rising river levels, continued flooding and dangerous road conditions. At this stage, we plan to be open again on Wednesday.
