Final Flood Warning for the River Derwent

Issued at 9:54am on Thursday 9 June 2016

Flood Warning Number: 16

River levels throughout the River Derwent are below their respective minor flood levels, though strong flows will continue in the River Derwent and its tributaries of the Florentine, Nive, Dee, Clyde and Ouse rivers for the next few days. 

Since 9AM Wednesday, no significant rainfall has been recorded in the Derwent catchment. 

River Derwent above River Ouse:

No further flooding is expected in the River Derwent above River Ouse.

River Ouse:

No further flooding is expected in the River Ouse.

River Clyde:

No further flooding is expected in the River Clyde.

River Derwent above Meadowbank Dam:

No further flooding is expected in the River Derwent above Meadowbank Dam.

Tyenna River:

No further flooding is expected in the Tyenna River.

Styx River:

No further flooding is expected in the Styx River.

River Derwent below Meadowbank Dam:

No further flooding is expected in the River Derwent below Meadowbank Dam.

River Derwent around New Norfolk:

No further flooding is expected in the River Derwent around New Norfolk.
