Cancellation of Severe Weather Warning
for people in the Western, Upper Derwent Valley and South East forecast districts
Issued at 12:46pm on Tuesday 14 June 2016.
Weather Situation
The cold front has now crossed southeastern Tasmania.
The Severe Weather Warning for the Western, Upper Derwent Valley and South East forecast districts has been cancelled, but the situation will continue to be monitored and further warnings will be issued if necessary.
Wind gusts are now easing.
The State Emergency Service and Tasmania Police advise that people should:
- Supervise children closely
- Do not walk, ride or drive through flood waters
- Beware of damaged trees and power lines and take care when driving
- Listen to the ABC radio or check www.ses.tas.gov.au for further advice

No further warnings will be issued for this event.
