Flooded roads

Local road hazards and closures as of 7.15am, Tuesday, June 7

ROADS CLOSED:
  • Church Rd, Dromedary (at bridge 200m in from Boyer Rd)
  • Ferry St, New Norfolk
  • Glenora Rd (from Plenty to Bushy Park), Plenty/Bushy Park
  • Gordon River Rd, Glenora Rd to Lyell Hwy (through Macquarie Plains), Styx River has broken its banks
  • Lyell Hwy, Hayes
  • Lyell Highway, Ouse – Ouse Bridge impassable – Divert via Repulse Road. NO TRUCKS due to bridge restrictions 2.4m height. Light Passenger Vehicles and 4WD only.
  • Lyell Highway, Rosegarland
  • Page Ave, New Norfolk
  • Victoria Valley Road, Ouse – From Lanes Tier Road to Cherry Tree Hill


HAZARDS:
  • Styx River has broken banks at Bushy Park – water over roadway
  • Tynwald Park, New Norfolk - water on road and sportsfields
