Federal funds for community projects

TWO projects in the Derwent Valley have been named as recipients of Stronger Communities grants from the federal Department of Infrastructure.

  • Derwent Valley Council and the Friends of Frescati will receive funding for a site of reflection garden at Frescati House at Willow Court in New Norfolk.
  • Central Highlands Council will receive funding for a park seating project in Westerway, Ellendale, Ouse and Bothwell.
