National Park closed

MT Field National Park is closed today and tomorrow due to flooding of the Tyenna River. The road into the park is closed due to water over the road and a large part of the day-use area is under water. Infrastructure such as sewage and electrical systems have been inundated.

There is no skiable snow at present and access to the alpine area is dependent on conditions into the park and on the Lake Dobson Rd. For further information contact the visitor centre on 6288 1149.
Check the Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service Facebook page for updates.
