Flooding closes Esplanade

TASMANIA POLICE ADVISE:
The Esplanade, New Norfolk, is now CLOSED.
Access to the Caravan Park is blocked due to flooding. The Derwent River expected is to peak at 6.30pm.
Motorists, please be safe on the roads and never attempt to drive through floodwaters or around road closure signs.
 
  • Glenora Rd, Plenty to Bushy Park – CLOSED
  • Gordon River Rd, Bushy Park – Between Rosegarland and Bushy Park – CLOSED
  • Lake Dobson Rd, National Park to Lake Dobson/Mt Field, due to flooding – CLOSED


DETOURS IN PLACE: Travel via Moogara or via Lyell Hwy/Ellendale Rd.
